Warning: The originals photos, texts, films, music, etc ... of the period previous to 1921 year - see the Act of the US Congress about it - have no copyright and belong to the public domain. However, those same pictures, I process this blog, when I restore and paint the pictures, then the right of modification is produced, ie that are protected by full copyright law, in this case mine. Of course there are many more laws in the world, declared in the public domain photographs (which is the topic at hand), in very later dates to the aforementioned (Example: WWII, Korea, etc ...).

ANTI-AIRCRAFT ARTILLERY IN THE WWI

11 September 2019

A German anti-aircraft gun 7,62-cm Räderflak L/30 (russ 02). Belgium 1917-18.

A German anti-aircraft gun: The 7,62-cm Räderflak L/30 (russ 02).
Belgian coast, 1917-18.

This is the transformation by Krupp of the 76.2-mm L/30 M1902 Russian Putilov field gun, turning it into an anti-aircraft gun, in this case fixed on a two-wheeled carriage: the 7.62-cm L/30 Räderflak (russ 02). 120 pieces were transformed between March and June 1917.

With a design reminiscent of the 7.7-cm anti-aircraft gun "Räder B.A.K." [Räderflak from mid-1916] L/35 (fraz 97) Krupp M1915 and also the 7.62-cm Räderflak L/30 (russ 00) Krupp M1916, however had better technical characteristics.

**********
